A Web Application to Track Juvenile Offenders and Their Case Outcomes

Pixelloom was asked to provide a system for a Native American tribe in northern Wisconsin. Drugs and alcohol are frequently used by the tribe's youths. The tribe's goal is to reduce the use of drugs and alcohol and provide family support in whatever way can further this goal. They asked Pixelloom for a web application to keep track of offenses, some treatments, and results.

The system is a mySQL-based, tabbed format of screens covering different aspects of a juvenile's life, such as family situation, education and job history, services/interventions provided, and case outcomes.

There is a reporting module, with about 30 reports, which can be assigned to be viewed by users assigned to different categories: school, county, and court personnel, and the tribe's Youth Officer.

There is, of course, an additional administration module, which regulates who is allowed to add or edit records and which reports each user is allowed to see.
