Resolution Sizes
Use these color blobs to check with clients as to what size they want their web site to be. There are 8 blobs, each size is left justified and then centered. Click each blob to see the next one.
The sizes shown are
- 760 x 420 (for 800 x 600 resolution)
- 955 x 600 (for 1024 x 768)
- 990 x 560 (for 1024 x 768)
- 1020 x 750 ( for larger than 1024 pixels wide)
- Check http://www.upsdell.com/BrowserNews/stat_trends.htm for current resolution statistics, but in July 2007, they report
640x480: this accounts for 0.2% of page accesses
800x600: this accounts for ~12% of page accesses and
1024x768 and higher: this accounts for ~81% of page accesses.
